Women's Week

It's National Women's Health Week, and there are all kinds of health issues that women need to be aware of. Pregnancy, menopause, osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer, and other chronic ailments are all important things to be educated about.

There are tons of resources available on these topics for women, and this week is as good a time as any for you to check up on these various realities of life as they may affect you. What is your family medical history? How are you taking care of yourself today- physically and mentally? What are your eating, exercise and relaxation habits and needs? There really is no better time than the present to deal with these issues, so make a checklist and follow through.

It's really not an option when you ponder these issues, it's a life choice, literally. And for those around you whom you love and who love you, taking care of yourself has got to be job # 1 before you can really fully care for others. Think about it…
