(KHNL) Kahala mall was flooded-out and several shops are closed and will remain closed through the weekend.  The theatres are among the hardest hit. Nearly 90 shops were evacuated. 

However, Macy's department store, Longs and Star Market will remain open. 

Heavy rains caused flooding all over Honolulu Friday. Traffic moved slowly thru a single lane on the H-1 freeway today through To the H-1 freeway near Fort Shafter Road turned into a pond. A city bus waded through deep waters to get through and a massive backup ensued.

The deluge finally subsided aound 2:15 in the afternoon, but we could see more of the same in the coming days as Hawaii says good-ridance to wettest month of March in our state's history.
