(KHNL) The wet weather is hitting Oahu again.

While some don't mind the rain, many others are wondering just when it will go away.

"It's really hard living in a tent especially when it rains," said Tisha Toro, who lives on Nanakuli Beach.

"There's a few leaks inside of our tent and there's nothing we can do, we take whatever dirty laundry we do have, we use to cover the wet spots," said Toro.

Toro lives on a part of Oahu getting slammed by the rain and like many, she's had enough of the heavy downpour.

"For me out here now, it's bad," said Toro.

Mother Nature is putting on quite a show with this latest storm front. Thunder and lightning hit Oahu hard Thursday afternoon. Every few minutes, you could see lightning flash across the sky.

In Leeward Oahu, the parking lot at Ewa Beach Elementary is now a huge pond.

"I can't even tell there's a parking lot here," said Ivan Avilla, Ewa Beach resident.

Avilla is able to laugh it off, because he's just happy to be home from Iraq.

But others are ready to take a vacation, especially those who spend a lot of time behind the wheel.

After weeks of dealing with the downpour, folks have one message.

"Get sunny, dry out," said Avilla.
