MILILANI (KHNL) Honolulu police say wet roadway conditions may have played a role in a deadly crash in Mililani Wednesday morning.

Police say a 25-year-old man was driving south on Lanikuhana Avenue, when he lost control of his 2002 Acura Integra near Mililani District Park.

The Acura ran onto the median and slammed into a tree. Paramedics took the Ewa Beach man to Wahiawa General Hospital, where he later died.

Investigators say speed, alcohol and wet roadway conditions may have been factors in the crash.
