HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Mililani needed to rebound this week after an embarrassing loss to Punahou last weekend, and the Trojans came up big on Homecoming night with a dominant showing against the Campbell Sabres in a 52-14 victory.
Led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel, the Trojans offense was able to put Campbell's defense on its heels for the majority of the game, including an opening drive touchdown.
Gabriel went 26-of-44 passing for 371 yards and five total touchdowns, four of which came through the air. By going over the 300-yard mark, Gabriel became the all-time passing yards leader in OIA history.
After handing the Sabres their first loss of the season tonight, Mililani will look to keep the good times going next weekend against Waianae. Campbell will face a stiff test against Punahou at home.
