MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Valley Isle continues to dry out following heavy rain from Tropical Storm Olivia.

On Saturday, Iao State Monument was closed due to heavy rainfall, strong winds and high water levels in the Wailuku River.

Department of Land and Natural Resources officials also said there is still the potential for downed trees and debris in the area. Grounds remain highly saturated.

Adding to the closures, the Kahakuloa Game Management Area, Poelua Road access is not passable due to erosion. Crews are working to complete repairs and it work will be ongoing.

The Kula Forest Reserve also remains closed for annual maintenance through Nov. 2.
