A 72-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Kailua.

It happened just after noon Friday at Kalanianaole Highway and Ulupii Street.

According to police, the man lost control while traveling eastbound on Kalanianaole Highway. He was ejected from his motorcycle on to the roadway, and another motorcyclist that was traveling in the same lane collided with him.

The 72-year-old man who's from Pearl City was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
