HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kahuku didn't need home field advantage Friday night to takedown Kamehameha in an ILH showdown, running through the Warriors 24-7 to go 4-1 on the season.
The game was displaced due to the effects of Tropical Storm Olivia, but it made little difference for either team as the Red Raiders jumped out to an early 24-point at halftime.
Kahuku senior running back Wesley Alo-Maiava added two more rushing touchdowns to his state-leading total of 10 on the season. He rushed 20 times for 85 yards.
Toalei Lefau plunged into the end zone in the first half in addition to his 64 rushing yards on the night.
The Warriors drop to 1-3 in the ILH standings and will host Farrington next Friday while the Red Raiders take on Mililani next weekend.
