HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Bellator MMA is coming to Hawaii.
After she successfully defended her Bellator flyweight belt back at Bellator 201, Honolulu native and former Punahou graduate Ilima-Lei Macfarlane is set to headline the Bellator Hawaii card on December 15th at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center.
The fight card marks the first timer Bellator has come to the islands and the first major MMA event since EliteXC visited Honolulu back in 2008.
Macfarlane will defend her belt against Valerie Letourneau. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida is also set to make his promotional debut in Honolulu.
