HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Biki is about to reach a milestone in its time on Oahu.
Bikeshare Hawaii says someone will take the 1-millionth ride on a Biki bike sometime in the next two weeks.
And it could be that rider's lucky day.
If the person who takes the 1-millionth ride is a Biki member, that person will win two round trip tickets to Tokyo Japan.
To qualify for the tickets, the Biki member must ride for at least two minutes. As a bonus to the prize, the winner will also get an inscription of his or her choice on a Biki bike.
Since it's launch a little over a year ago, Biki has been a hit with bicyclists, reporting more than 960,000 rides since. That's an average of about 3,000 rides per day.
