KAKAAKO (HawaiiNewsNow) - Some 2,500 families and 400 businesses will be affected by a series of overnight power outages planned for Kakaako, Iwilei and Ala Moana.
The outages are part of a $1.5 million project aimed at boosting service reliability, Hawaiian Electric said.
The work will start Monday and run through Aug. 2. Outages are planned Mondays through Thursdays, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
While some customers will be affected by multiple outages, Hawaiian Electric said, no one will be without power every night.
