WAIANAE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The suspect in an attempted murder investigation stemming from an apparent stabbing over the weekend remains at large.
Honolulu police say the stabbing happened in an unspecified area of Waianae late Saturday night.
Police say a 35-year-old man was in an argument with the suspect moments before he was stabbed.
It happened between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Police said before officers arrived at the scene, the suspect fled. His whereabouts and identity were still unknown as of Monday morning.
The victim went to a nearby hospital without the assistance of paramedics. His current condition is not known.
A second degree attempted murder investigation has been opened.
Police did not immediately provide a description of the suspect.
