EAST HONOLULU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to six separate incidents involving hikers at Diamond Head between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m on Sunday.
The Honolulu Fire Department says three people had to be air-lifted from the top of the trail.
All patients were evaluated by paramedics but only one agreed to be transported to an emergency room.
It appears heat and dehydration contributed to all of the cases.
Ages of the patients ranged from ages 10 to 60.
