Big Island woman wanted after allegedly using counterfeit cash

KAU, BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Island Police are turning to the public for help identifying a woman in a forgery case.

Police say the woman was seen in Naalehu Town recently where she entered a business and used a counterfeit $50 bill to buy items.

She left the store in a silver-color SUV, but officers are hoping the surveillance images will help identify her.

She's described by police as caucasian and has medium length hair.
