The Rainbow Warrior baseball team had to rally a couple times to regain their lead over Fresno State, but the ‘Bows made it out of the game with a win in extra innings by a score of 6-4.
Hawaii (24-19) outlasted Fresno State (27-22) as right fielder Adam Fogel was the man of the honor for the Warriors, hitting a two-run triple to secure the win.
With the score tied at 4-4 apiece after Hawaii surrendered its lead in the seventh inning, Fogel blasted a 10th-inning triple to left center field to bring Kekai Rios and Dustin Demeter home for the lead.
Dylan Thomas came in to close things out from the mound in the bottom of the 10th to earn his 13th save on three-consecutive Bulldog outs.
He's now tied for the second-most single-season saves in UH history with Craig Tucker (1991).
The Warriors and Bulldogs return to action tomorrow. First pitch is set for 3:05 p.m. HT.
