USPS sets up mail pickup for eruption evacuees

PUNA, BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - As several Puna homes and businesses are affected by earthquakes and eruptions on the Big Island, the United States Postal service has set a pickup point for evacuees.

On Saturday morning, the United States Postal Service announced that residents who have evacuated from the Leilani Estates area can pick up their mail at the Pahoa Post Office.

The downtown Hilo post office will be closed until further notice after suffering structural damage from Saturday's earthquake.
