For the second-straight season, Rainbow Wahine tennis coach Jun Hernandez was named the Big West Coach of the Year. Hernandez led the ‘Bows to their first-ever Big West title this season and the team’s second NCAA Tournament berth in program history.
Hernandez’s star pupil, Petra Melounova, was also named Player of the Year in the Big West for the second-straight year.
Melounova becomes the seventh player to ever to earn back-to-back POY honors after a 14-3 record on the year, including 9-1 vs BWC opponents.

On the men's side of things, three Rainbow Warrior tennis players earned all-Big West honors today after an impressive 2017-2018 campaign.
Felix Albert was named to the all-Big West second team in both singles and doubles, his third all-conference accolade after earning singles first team honors last season and honorable mention honors as a sophomore.
Albert was also named the Big West Scholar-Athlete of the Year earlier this season for the second-straight year.
Blaz Seric was also named to the all-Big West second team in singles with Fabian Woehrl.
