Quite a change from yesterday morning. It will be cloudy and showery today with light winds and increasing humidity.
High in Honolulu will be 82 degrees.
High clouds and tropical moisture are streaming up from the southwest while low level moisture is spreading from the Big Island up the island chain. The atmosphere will become increasingly unstable as an upper level disturbance digs south toward the state late today.
Expect cloudy, humid, and unsettled conditions, with the highest chances of heavy rainfall for the west end of the state late today into at least Friday.
Trade winds should return on Sunday and bring considerable moisture back toward the islands from the northeast.
Surf is elevated along south shores. A series of south swells are heading our way over the next few days.
Another advisory-sized swell is expected out in the country late Sunday.
