HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Motorists who use the H-3 Freeway will need to find an alternate route if traveling to or from Kaneohe on Sunday.
The state Department of Transportation announced Monday that all lanes in both directions of the H-3 would close because of a film production for several hours on Sunday.
A transportation department spokesperson tells Hawaii News Now that the closure is for an unnamed project being produced by Netflix. The film, which stars Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac and Charlie Hunnam, began filming on Oahu on March 26, according to Deadline.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning and finish at around 3 p.m.
Electronic message boards have already been posted to warn motorists of the closure.
