Former Rainbow Warrior cornerback and Wisconsin standout Nick Nelson was drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders.
Nelson, who transferred from Manoa to Wisconsin back in 2016, was selected 110th overall after an impressive 2017-2018 campaign with the Badgers, earning first-team All-Big Ten honors.
The former Warrior broke a school record at Wisconsin with 21 passes defended and elected to forgo his final year of college to pursue a career in the NFL.
Nelson posted a 4.52-second 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine and will look to translate his collegiate production to the next level.
