JAPAN (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new theme park based on the famous anime from Studio Ghibli is set to open in central Japan.
The studio has just unveiled some of the designs for the park.
The main gate area will have an elevator tower based on the film "Howl's Moving Castle."
Nearby there will be an antique store modeled on one in "Whisper of the Heart."
Ghibli Park will occupy land used for the 2005 World Expo that was held near Nagoya.
The studio's films are to be screened on site.
The theme park had hoped to open in 2020, but the local governor announced Wednesday that the park will launch in fiscal 2022.
The governor said he hopes the park will make people feel that Ghibli's works weren't a dream.
