Queen Emma Ballet Students to Perform “Dances at an Exhibition”

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Queen Emma Ballet students will delight audiences with "Dances at an Exhibition 2018," an original ballet which features fine art paintings, music and dance as a child journeys into a world of paintings come to life.  There will be two shows on Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Paliku Theatre on the campus of Windward Community College. The public is invited to attend. Proceeds will support scholarships, guest artists and facility improvements.

"Dances at an Exhibition" is an original production featuring a child's journey into the world of paintings that are brought to life through music and dance. There will be shows on two dates featuring classical, contemporary, and jazz numbers performed by students from the school of Queen Emma Ballet. All proceeds help fund scholarships, guest artists and facility improvements. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased online at www.queenemmaballet.com.
