HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After dismantling No. 14 ranked Krzysztof Jotko via third round TKO this past Saturday, UFC middleweight and Hawaii native Brad Tavares is now ranked in the Top 10 in the organization's middleweight division.
The 185-pounder was ranked No. 15 last week before his recording his fourth-straight victory and is now tied with current Xtreme Couture gym teammate Uriah Hall for No. 10.
Tavares (17-4) hasn't lost since 2015, a KO loss to the current middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.
Now inside the Top 10 of the division, Tavares will soon be knocking on the door for a Top 5 opponent and a possible title eliminator bout if he continues to perform well inside the Octagon.
