HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Michelle Wie might have put herself in contention for a Top 10 finish when tomorrow's final round of the 2018 LOTTE Championship comes around, but the chances of her winning it all are slim - mostly because of the competition ahead of her.
Wie's two-under par Round 3 earlier today put her at -2 overall, which is good enough for T18th which puts her seven shots behind leader Brooke Henderson (-9).
Henderson, who shot +1 on the day, struggled to gain any momentum heading into Saturday's final round but is still sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboards with a one stroke lead over Mo Martin.
Just behind Martin lies Nasa Hataoka who put together a spectacular Round 3, going -4 on the day and -6 overall.
World No. 1 Shanshan Feng didn't have a great day, shooting +2, which saw her drop down to fifth place on the leaderboards at -6 overall. She'll still have a good shot at getting back into the title conversation if she can play more like she did on Day 1 and Day 2.
