The Rainbow Wahine volleyball team is already retooling their roster as head coach Robyn Ah Mow-Santos announced the signing of senior transfer Angel Gaskin.
Gaskin played her first three seasons at Maryland and will be eligible to play her final season in Manoa.
Gaskin is a left-handed, 6-1, opposite from Tampa, Florida. In three seasons with the Terrapins, she recorded 597 kills (1.87 p/set) with 223 total blocks and 62 digs. Last season, she played in all 32 matches and finished the season with 184 kills (1.66 p/set) with 58 total blocks (.52 p/set).
"We are excited to have Angel becoming our newest Rainbow Wahine," Ah Mow-Santos said in a press release. "She is a good fit for our program and will bring experience and leadership with her."
Gaskin recently tried out for the Collegiate U.S. National Team along with current Hawaii players Tita Akiu, McKenna Granato and Norene Iosia.
