HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Day 2 of the 2018 LOTTE Championship saw Brooke Henderson jump into first place after a 6-under round to go atop of the leaderboard at 10-under.
The 20-year-old Canadian now leads first-round leader Shanshan Feng and Mo Martin in the standings heading into Friday.
"I feel like I'm in a great spot obviously at the top," said Henderson, who has held the 36-hole lead during four of her five career LPGA wins, including at the 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. "I feel like I'm hitting the ball really well and I can depend on my putting right now, which is a big key for me when I'm playing well."
Feng didn't do as well as she did yesterday, but still performed well under the windy conditions at Ko Olina, hitting 3-under to improve to -8 overall.
The 2017 LOTTE Championship winner, Cristie Kerr, fell off a bit during Day 2 with a +3. She is now +2 overall and tied for 47th place.
