MOILIILI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police on Wednesday arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a stabbing at a cemetery.
Iknasio Ruben was taken in to custody on suspicion of second-degree assault and two counts of criminal contempt of court.
Ruben is tied to a stabbing that took place shortly after midnight Wednesday at the Moiliili Japanese Cemetery, police said.
According to Emergency Medical Services, the victim, a 44-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Ruben is accused of stabbing the victim with a pair of scissors, police said.
It's unclear if the two men knew each other or what led to the stabbing.
Ruben remains in police custody. Charges have yet to be filed.
