WAIANAE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The kane of a halau in Waianae are getting a fair amount of attention for their post-Merrie Monarch workout regimen.

In a video posted to the Ke Kai O Kahiki Facebook page on Monday, the men are seen sweating it out shirtless after an exciting time at the dance competition in Hilo.

Only a day after the end of the popular hula competition, the halau's post has been shared over 5,000 times and has more than 240,000 views. In the video, they're seen dancing and chanting to "Icky Sticky" by JGeek and the Geeks, a song with an energetic techno-feel.

People who viewed the video flooded the post with positive comments complimenting the men's form and fun-loving spirits.

Last year, the men of Ke Kai O Kahiki were featured in a profile piece on male hula dancers that went viral with an impressive 36 million views.

The popular halau captioned Monday's video post by thanking fans and supporters on their "wonderful journey to Merrie Monarch."
