KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Big Island Dairy will be donating a significant amount of milk to a public housing complex in Kalihi on Tuesday.

The state dairy producer will be donating 500 half-gallons of milk to Kalihi Valley Homes, that will be used to assist the homeless, hungry and needy.

Rep. John Mizuno whose district includes the Kalihi Valley area, will be helping to distribute the donated milk at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
