LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Rainbow Warrior wide receiver and current Green Bay Packers wideout Trevor Davis was reportedly arrested yesterday at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after jokingly telling a Hawaiian Airlines attendant he had smuggled in a bomb into his luggage.
Davis was reportedly answering security questions at the check in counter when he made the joke about being in possession of a bomb, according to USA TODAY.
The 24-year-old was said to have turned to a female companion and said "did you pack the explosives?'"
Davis was then arrested, booked and released on $15,000 bail and will be in court on May 3.
Davis, was a fifth-round pick by the Packers in the 2016 NFL draft after a standout college career at the University of California-Berkeley. Davis transferred to California-Berkeley after a brief stint at the University of Hawaii under former head coach Greg McMackin.
