Hawaii's Spider-Man star to be featured in upcoming Marvel movie

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Damien Memorial School graduate Jacob Batalon will be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, which opens in theaters on April 27.

Batalon graduated from the Oahu private school in 2014 and has since gone on to appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Peter Parker's nerdy best friend, Ned Leeds.

The Marvel film will feature an all-star cast including Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor, Tom Holland who plays Spider-Man and Chadwick Boseman who plays the Black Panther. Batalon recently played a role on the big screen in the film Every Day that debuted in theaters in February.

The Hawaii native also plans to be in several other upcoming films including Night School with Kevin Hart, which will be showing in theaters in the fall.
