Hearing sirens? State to conduct monthly siren test Monday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The state will conduct its monthly siren test on Monday.

Beginning at 11:45 a.m., the warning sirens will sound a one-minute steady tone and a signal will appear on TV and radio, the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency said.

Residents near Campbell Industrial Park may also hear a second test for its HAZMAT siren. This test will involve a whooping tone.
