LIHUE, KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has canceled a flash flood watch that was in effect for parts of the state, but the threat of heavy showers remains Wednesday.
The watch, which was posted on Tuesday, was in effect for Kauai, Oahu and Niihau.
Even though it has been canceled, forecasters say there will still be periods of unsettled weather along with humid conditions, which will continue through at least Thursday.
The unstable weather is part of a series of low pressure systems that are expected to track across the state throughout the week.
On Monday, heavy showers drenched parts of the state, with some of the heaviest rain over Maui County.
