Hazy and humid conditions are in store for Easter Sunday with light south to southeast winds that will lead to afternoon clouds and pop-up showers. A front has stalled to the west of Kauai, leading to the round of light winds and spotty showers. The front will be pushed eastward Monday, bringing more showers and the chance of locally heavy rainfall. Wet and unsettled weather is possible through at least Wednesday, with another front pushing through the islands late in the week with yet more rain.
Surf is trending downward below advisory levels, but will remain elevated for north shores. Choppy surf could rise a bit for south shores around Monday with stronger south to southwest winds moving in. No marine warnings are currently in effect.
