Rainbow Warriors ready for Big West Conference play

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Warrior baseball team is looking to extend its two-game winning streak this weekend against Big West Conference rival UC Irvine in the opening weekend of conference play.

After playing just three road games thus far, Hawaii (14-8) will now travel to the mainland for a seven-game road trip. Hawaii is coming off a four-game home series against Seton Hall, which the 'Bows split two games apiece.

After dropping the first two contests to Seton Hall, Hawaii came back strong on Sunday and Monday to defend their home soil at Les Murakami Stadium.

The 'Bows' first two games against UC Irvine will be broadcasted on ESPN3 (WatchESPN). First pitch against the Anteaters is set for 3:30 p.m., HT on Thursday.
