We look at local entertainment from Kolohe Kai to Melveen Leed and the recap on "The Voice" last night!
Na Hoku Hanohano Award Winners Kolohe Kai have a new album on the way. Lead singer Roman De Peralta gave an acoustic preview of the brand new single dropping this morning. He posted up on the Kolohe Kai Official FB page yesterday: "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! NEW KOLOHE KAI SONG HITS RADIO TOMORROW! AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE ON FRIDAY 3/30! Live Announcement! Live and direct to the fans I respect! Love you all and thanks for waiting so long!"
Melveen Leed was smiling from ear to ear this past Saturday night; she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Pan Pacific Southeast Asian Women Association of Hawaii. Tons of entertainers from Hawaii and all over Polynesia turned out to honor the tita from Molokai. On the video above we show two Moloka'i girls singing a song for the place where they come from..that's their wahi pana; their special place, Moloka'i. Congrats to Melveen Leed!!
Finally our recaps on "The Voice"! The coaches are still narrowing down the teams to those who will survive the knockouts and beyond; the steals are plentiful, but last night's battle was between Texan Justin Kilgore and Georgia native Molly Stevens. Remember Justin was the one that Kelly Clarkson blocked Alicia Keys early on; he moved on in the competition.
It seems like it will be a battle of the country genre between Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton; one of the themes is that the celeb coaches are fed up with country star Blake Shelton, who is a six-time winner of "The Voice".
You can see all of the FULL Episodes of the show plus the weekly recaps!
