HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Job seekers got offered positions on the spot at Whole Food's job fair Tuesday.
At the beginning of the fair up to 300 available positions were up grabs for the new store in Ward Village.
Tuesday was the first day of Whole Food's three-day job fair at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center for the Whole Foods Queen Store. Job seekers can still head over from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thursday and walk-ins are welcome at the event.
Those interested in applying for one of the available positions, or finding out more about the fair can go to the Whole Foods website.
The new Whole Foods Market will comprise a 72,000 square foot space on two levels featuring local food products. The new store opens in May.
"It's our 4th store in the Hawaiian Islands and it's about twice the size of our existing stores here and we're just thrilled to be part of the community and we're getting some great candidates here," said Annalee England, team leader at Whole Foods.
The job fair continues tomorrow and Thursday at the Blaisdell.
