'Bows split double-header with BYU

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After losing their first game of the season Friday night, the Rainbow Warrior baseball team came back on Saturday to split a double-header against BYU, losing the first game 4-3 but dominated the second game 8-3.

In the 4-3 loss, Cougars shortstop Daniel Schneemann and left fielder Kyle Dean each drove in two runs to guide BYU over the 'Bows to give Hawaii its second loss on the young season.

But in Game 2 of the double-header, the Warriors would not be denied after a strong performance on the mound from Logan Pouelsen who pitched six innings, surrendering one run on three hits.
