Get ready to take care of your kids' teeth and have some fun. It's time for the 14th Annual Hawaii Dental Service Tooth Fairy Fun Day at the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center on Sunday, February 25, from 10 am to 2 pm. It's a fun, educational outreach event that coincides with National Children's Oral Health Month.
New this year will be Miss Hawaii 2017 Kathryn Teruya, who will be heading to dental school. She talked to Dan Cooke on Sunrise about how she has joined the HDS Tooth Fairy to provide free prizes to help children take better care of their teeth. The HDS Fairy Grandmother returns to entertain children with her awesome oral health magic show. In addition to a wide variety of educational games and activities, HDS participating dentists will provide free dental screenings.
There is free admission to the first 500 HDS members and their immediate family members. HDS offers a discounted admission of $7 to all HDS members and the public, after the first 500. Bring your HDS membership card or download your card on your phone.
