Trending - Security Clearance for White House staff, Fergie bombs national anthem and baby Dan dances

Here's Howard Dicus' trending story of the day. Another White House official resigns. George Banks, special assistant to the president for economic policy, resigned after being told he would not get a permanent security clearance because he admitted having smoked pot. White House papers leaked to NBC News show 130 members of the presidential staff have only temporary security clearances. They include Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and legal counsel Don McGahn. The documents date from November. Maybe some have been cleared since then. This issue is not unique to the Trump presidency. Howard recalls some Obama staff clearances were slow in coming, too, not this many, but some. The thing is, a key Trump campaign claim was that his opponent mishandled sensitive information to the extent that it was grounds for imprisonment. Now, Mr. Trump has not one but several security advisers who see the daily intelligence briefing who went months without permanent security clearances. By the way, two who DO have security clearance are Trump aides Hope Hicks and Kellyanne Conway.

Grace Lee shared video of Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas singing the national anthem at the NBA All-Stars game on Sunday night. There were a lot of critics who did not like her bluesy rendition of the national anthem. Some have compared it to Marilyn Monroe's rendition of "Happy birthday Mr. president" that was performed for John F. Kennedy when he was in office. The Associated Press reported that there was a low rumble of laughter throughout the Staples Center. Draymond Green tried not to laugh, but failed while on camera. Shaquille Oneal called it "sexy". While Charles Barkley, replied that he needed a cigarette afterward.

Dan Cooke found video of himself as a kid. He danced around because he was so excited about pizza. Dan claims that it's not him. Uh huh. Likely story.
