Today’s double-header at Les Murakami Stadium was cut short as Game 2 of today’s back-to-back between the Rainbow Warrior baseball team and Air Force was canceled due to bad weather.
In the first game of the day, the Warriors were able to squeeze out a 2-1 victory over Air Force, courtesy of an Adam Fogel solo home run. With the win, the ‘Bows advanced to 3-0 on the season for the team’s best start since 2011.
The first game of the double-header was scheduled to be a seven inning fixture before the second game, but mother nature had other plans. Following nearly a 90-minute delay in the action, Game 2 was called off and it was announced that it wouldn’t be rescheduled.
The game has been ruled officially as a rainout.— Hawaii Baseball (@HawaiiBaseball) February 19, 2018
