Police searching for suspect in Kaimuki bank robbery

KAIMUKI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Police are looking for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery in Kaimuki.

On Monday at 3:13 p.m. a man walked into the First Hawaiian Bank on Waialae Avenue, took money from a bank teller and then ran away.

The Honolulu Police Department is looking for the man who was described as being 40 to 50 years in age, fair-skinned, 5-foot 8 to 5-foot 9 and of average build. Those at the scene said that the suspect was wearing a long-sleeve white jacket, blue jeans and a white surgical mask during the robbery.
