HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The 3rd annual Hawaii Cannabis Expo is underway at the Blaisdell Center.
Industry leaders, doctors and more than 100 vendors are on hand to help educate the public about cannabis and its uses.
Local dispensaries are also sharing how registered patients can safely access the drug in Hawaii.
The medical marijuana industry continues to grow in the state. There are a handful of dispensaries already open throughout the islands.
Recent demand for cannabis and medical marijuana products has been high, and local companies have previously struggled to keep up.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the expo. For more info, click here.
