An upper level disturbance will keep the threat of heavy showers, mainly over Kauai, through the weekend, with warm and humid weather along with light southerly winds for the entire state. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for Kauai through Sunday afternoon. Another disturbance is expected to bring more thunderstorms and heavy rain, starting Sunday night and spreading down the island chain into Monday.
A large west-northwest swell will build this weekend, so a High Surf Warning is posted for the north and west shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu and Molokai, the north shores of Maui and the west shores of the Big Island. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all Hawaiian coastal waters.
