HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A fourth Dunkin' Donuts restaurant is set to open this week in Pearl City.
Located across the street from the Pearl City Walmart, the shop will officially open at the Pearl City Gateway center Tuesday.
On Monday, parent company Aloha Petroleum held a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony.
"We're thrilled to bring our first Dunkin' Donuts restaurant to the Central Oahu community, offering a variety of high-quality food and beverage options as well as employment opportunities to area residents," said Aloha Petroleum Vice President and Treasurer Tom Grimes. "We look forward to providing Pearl City residents with the fast and friendly service for which Dunkin' Donuts is known."
The shop features a drive-thru window, and will regularly open from 5 a.m. till 10 p.m.
There are already existing Dunkin' locations in Kapolei, near the Honolulu International Airport, and at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Aloha Petroleum says there are plans to eventually open 15 locations across the state. The company singed an agreement in 2016 to bring the coffee chain to the islands.
A grand opening celebration is slated for March.
