Forecast: Wet trade wind pattern for the next few days

Keep that umbrella close by for a couple of days, as a steady stream of clouds and showers will ride in on moderate trade winds. Most of the showers will fall in windward and mauka areas, but some of those showers could also spread leeward. Don't expect the showers to be heavy, but it will keep things on the wet side.

A small northwest swell will bring a bump for north shores at 5 to 8 feet and west shores at 3 to 5 feet. A High Surf Advisory remains up for east facing shores, along with a Small Craft Advisory for most Hawaiian coastal waters through 6 p.m. Sunday.
