MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Following a raging fire at a Mililani home on Saturday, Honolulu Fire Department officials say there was more than $760,000 in damage to the structure and its contents.
Fire officials were dispatched to the call just after 8 a.m. They responded to a home on Papolohiwa Street. Upon arrival, firefighter found heavy smoke and flames coming from the 2-story home.
The 28 fire personnel quickly worked to battle the flames and the protect neighboring structures.
Crews extinguished the fire around 9:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross is assisting a family of five displaced by the fire.
HFD continues their investigation into what sparked the blaze.
