PEARL CITY, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A 23-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly pointing a gun at a city bus driver.

Honolulu police said Annastasia Debibar got into an argument with the bus driver over bus fares on Jan. 6. Debibar then got out of the bus and pointed a gun at the driver, police said.

She then took another passenger’s bike from the bus’ bike rack and fled the area.

Authorities said she was arrested at around 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday in a separate shoplifting case, but they recognized her from the bus incident.

She was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree theft.
