The easterly winds have picked up overnight and statewide they are forecast to be 20-40 mph with gusts to 50 mph. The strongest winds will be in down slope areas, along peaks and ridges, and between tall buildings.
There will be the occasional passing shower, but very little accumulation. Skies should be mostly sunny leeward and the high in Honolulu will be 82 degrees.
Surf has dropped north and west, but built to advisory levels along east shores. Stay away from the rocky coastlines on the east shores today and tomorrow.
