HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A downed tree created a traffic mess on Likelike Highway on Wednesday night.
The tree fell about 7:30 p.m., closing Honolulu-bound lanes of the highway after the Wilson Tunnel.
Crews were able to remove the tree from the roadway, allowing trapped drivers to get past, within about an hour.
But crews remained on scene to cut the tree up in order to haul it away.
All lanes have been reopened.
